The Logo
In my brand redesign, I decided to look into why I decided to become a graphic designer. My love for design came when I lived in Trinidad and Tobago and enjoyed drawing and was captivated by my visit to the capital building of the prime minister. I spotted a hummingbird, and I decided at that moment I wanted to become an artist and after looking at magazines advertisements became interested in graphic design.
The Chosen One
Using a digital brush to write in script and adding the humming bird coming from the "G" this logo was the chosen one. Due to the bright colors and the flowing movement of the type, it goes towards my nickname Ashley Swirls and was the perfect choice for my brand.
The Runner Up
Using my handwriting and incorporating the flower and hummingbird, this logo was created.
Taking Bronze
Using a digital brush to create a calligraphic type "F" and adding the hummingbird, this logo was created.
